Hogeye Rentals is one of the fastest growing companies in the rental industry. We strive to build our business on the quality of our units and the quality of service that we provide our customers.

Our rental fleet consists of the newest equipment available on the market and our service is heads and shoulders above our competitors.

Hogeye offers several sizes and options, including NEW Double Door Storage containers in both 20' and 40' lengths. Double Door units give you the convenience of 2 doors on both ends of the container for full accessiblity.

The initial use of ocean cargo containers is in the International shipping of goods on ships, rail, and trucks. Since these containers are designed and built to ISO specifications, they keep the product inside dry and secure. The floors and undercarriage accept very heavy loads and distribute the weight of those loads to the four bottom ISO corner fittings. These containers were designed to be stacked 9 high with loads up to 40,000 pounds in each container. They are able to withstand extremes of temperature from -22 degrees Fahrenheit to 149 degrees Fahrenheit without any effect on the strength of the basic structure.

The rugged construction and secureness of these containers are what makes them great storage solutions for homes, businesses, and manufacturing facilities. We have been very selective in our choice of containers to maintain an inventory of the best equipment available.

HOGEYE CONTAINER CONSTRUCTION
  • Base Structure: The bottom side rails are made of one piece high tensile steel and are 1/8" thick steel plate (Cold Rolled). The supporting cross memebers are 12" on center and are 1/8" thick.
  • Floor: The floor is 1 1/8" hardwood and is attached to the supporting cross members with galvanized self-tapping screws. All exposed wooded components are treated and meet the Australian Quarantine requirements. The floors can sustain weight up to 200 pounds per square foot.
  • Exterior Walls and Roof: The sidewalls are 1/16" thick, vertically corrugated and use a continuous weld. The bulkhead is also 1/16" thick and butt welded to each other with a continuous weld to the end rail and corner posts. The roof is completely welded to the upper frame and is 5/16" thick.
  • Ventilation: There are either two or four labyrinth type breathe ports on the containers. These allow cross convection type ventilation without allowing the wind or water to enter the container.
  • Undercoating: The underside of the container is coated with an asphalt type emulsion that is 6 mils thick. This helps protect the unit against water and rust.
  • ISO Door: The right hand door is designed to prevent the left door from being opened until the right door has been released. Each door is capable of swinging open a full 270 degrees and is suspended by four hinges with stainless steel pins.
